  1. mula noon, until ngayon… you still one of my faves @figaro

eto ang kinalakihang kong OG na cafés, ‘coz people dine here to really savor the food, the drinks and their time. laid back, chill ang vibes, service is warm and the offerings are what gets people to come back.

listing the noms for you to try out so you can thank me later for these recos:
    -crispy liempo and laing
    -bacon and mushroom omelette
    -pasta aglio olio
    -chicken caesar salad

  2. Checked out their branch in High street a few weeks ago and tried the following:

》Crispy Liempo with Laing | I enjoyed the contrast of textures/flavours from the crispy pork belly and taro leaves cooked in coconut milk (Laing). It was served with a side salad and garlic rice, such a hearty meal.

》Grilled Chicken Pesto Focaccia + Asian Chicken Salad | The focaccia sandwich had grilled chicken fillet with bell peppers, pesto spread and grated cheese. The chicken salad was loaded with a medley of greens, tomatoes, grilled chicken, sesame seeds, walnuts and a sweet/tangy vinaigrette.

》Chicken Waldorf + Arrabiata | The sandwich had diced chicken on it plus fresh greens and apple compote enclosed in a batard bread which complimented the pasta’s sweet/savoury tomato sauce topped with grated parmesan.

》Little Oscar (Sans Rival), Pudding with vanilla sauce, Tiramisu, Ensaymada | Rich and decadent treats, my faves would be the Sans rival and Pudding.

》Choco Chips Java Frappe, Layered Matcha + Espresso and Iced Spanish Latte | They have a great selection of caffeinated drinks and the intensity of its brewed coffee is perfect for me.

》Smoothies | Tropical Sunset (Banana, apple, orange + pineapple jam) and Beachside Calm (Celery, apple, pineapple, mint + cucumber). Energy boosting drinks which we all need especially in Manila’s scorching heat.

This café is second to none as it serves freshly brewed coffee and premium quality food/drinks – from signature Filipino dishes to pastas, sandwiches, pastries and beverages.

  3. Probably the best local chain coffee in Philippines – high quality food & coffee, great service and clean, creating a very comfortable ambiance to enjoy brunch. I had the ham & cheese sandwich, great value for money given the portions. Also, coffee is not too acidic or too chocolately, just the right fix. Will definitely visit again.

  4. Figaro serves good coffee but unknown to many they are more than just a coffee shop, they literally have rice meals on their menu. Tried Braised Pork Adobo Belly for brunch. Plating was good so was the portion. First few spoonfuls were delicious but when I got to the skin part, the fat was a little too much for me. But that should be expected when eating adobo. The side veggies and eggs helped fill my tummy even more. Also ordered coffee because well they are a coffee shop also.

  5. Figaro has always been my go to coffee shop when I was still working in Makati! That’s why when I saw their branch in BGC, I decided to have our dinner there. The modern rustic vibe brings back good old memories! I was also impressed with their new menu that now caters to low carb/keto diets, salads, pasta and sandwiches as well as their wide selection of cakes, pastries, to their coffee and shakes!

My mom, kept on raving about her salad and suggests that we go here whenever we have an errand in BGC again! Hubby enjoyed the Sukiyaki Tapa Meal because it’s so tender and flavorful (I should’ve ordered two so I can have my own haha). While my daughter and I loved the pasta and the muffin! It was like an instant happy night for us because we get to really enjoy the cozy space and the yummy food! It was worth spending your money on!

No wonder they are true to their claim that they a cafe above the rest. ✨ We will definitely go back 💯

They are also available via delivery on GrabFood or Booky (check out store list on social media for availability per store)
