  1. From start to finish , our 3 night stay was wonderful. Every member of staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and we were lucky enough to have a lovely view from the hotel room. The breakfast had plenty of choice, even for my husband who is very fussy with his food.
Location was about 200metres from Cardiff Castle entrance and the shopping area about a 5 minute walk.
Special shout out to Lauren and Said who always had a friendly welcome when we came in and out of the hotel and all of the restaurant staff.
Highly recommend this place to anyone.

  2. With any hotel experience it started in the lobby. The staff was quick and accommodating. The lobby itself was very clean and well decorated, led straight to the hotel bar and dining area which was massive. The rooms though we’re not quite what I was expecting from such a strong entrance. Very basic and small, but being an American I might just be spoiled. The plugs they use are the three prong type G. The bathroom was bright but took a bit to figure out the water mixture for hot and cold. But boy are the tubs DEEP. But the real win and why I was excited is the vicinity to Cardiff Castle, just across the street. You also have a stadium right behind you and food, pubs and shopping are within walking distance.

  3. OK so we were in Cardiff for rugby – Cardiff v Harlequins – the hotel overlooks the ground is literally a 4 minute walk to any gate, so excellent in that respect. I would have marked the hotel higher but for the car parking setup. The car park is great buy paying for it turned unnecessarily painful – first the machine did not work in the hotel lobby, so we had to pay at reception with the room charge. The lady made a mistake and never allocated the parking monies from the payment, so 2 weeks later, we get the stroppy, aggressive parking fines letters arriving!!! Had to make a couple of calls to the hotel to get a person to sort it. Thanks for that.
Other gripe is that there is no decent food available in the bar at all!!

  4. I have been staying in this hotel for work for the past few months. The staff here in front house and restaurant are professional and very friendly. Panos, in the bar, has got great taste and knowledge of food; if he recommends you must try it. I highly recommend this place to stay and eat.

  5. Fab staff and facilities. Food was tremendous as was the entertainment on sat night. Breakfast was the pick me up you need after a busy night playing. The food was smoking. Best bacon I’ve had this year. Eggs done to perfection. Smooth checkout by the cheerful reception team. Well done girls.
