  1. I wish they had decaf coffee.
Tagged as the premium Indonesian coffee place. I only ordered the Indonesian pancakes (Serabi Mak) but they were good so I imagine the rest of the menu is the same.

Only critique is that the atmosphere is not as nice as they advertise the food to be. There are stains on ceilings, a man smoking inside, and missing ceiling fan blades. Otherwise the atmosphere is nice.

  2. Nice atmosphere, it has that vintage/old-school vibes. It can get pretty hot though as there is no air-conditioning, just ceiling fans and open windows.

The food was pretty good. Would recommend getting traditional Indonesian dishes as opposed to other options as they seem to do better with those. Portion wasn’t too big but mostly appropriate for the price (if you’re getting local dishes).

  3. Second time to this establishment. This eatery is a part of the Tugu group that specialized in f&b and boutique hotels in Indonesia.

Beautifully decorated and would entice one to stay and just absorbing the atmosphere. The food is equally good to, the sop bontot was definitely the star, the broth is just so flavorful that you want to savour till the last drop. The peking roast duck was a bit salty and the skin wasn’t too crispy. The corn bakwan was almost a meal on its own.

Another place you wouldn’t want to miss when visiting Jakarta.

  4. The overall food quality are quite good and the variety of drinks is surprisingly great. The interior design is very well thought, stay true the vintage vibe that Tugu Group is very well known of. We came when the weather is cloudy and not so crowded with people. But if the weather is hot, lack of air con might be a bit bothersome to some people. But overall love this place.

  5. Actually this resto is very nice with traditional decorations and ambience.
The food also traditional taste but I think they cook too salty!

The nasi bebek Goreng also good.

Try the whisky coffee hm like just cold brew with a whiskey taste.

Anyway the meeting room was so hot. I think they need to add more air con in here.
