  1. This is a amazing & beautiful hotel. All staff, were pleasant & happy, especially the gorgeous Levi & her cocktails. The rooms were a good size & spotlessly clean. The spa & pool were fantastic & again our facials & massage made me feel so relaxed.I stayed with my cousin & we could not believe the value for money. The food was excellent, as was the price & service. We had a amazing time & will not hesitate to return or recommend to everyone. Thank you all so much.

  2. Been to the Mercure hotel twice, all in a short space of time as my partner and I were so blown away back in January. Visited again this weekend for my partners birthday and once again, had an amazing time. The suites were stunning with great decor and lovely welcome messages and gifts. The pool and leisure facilities were great as well as the restaurant. Ruth was particularly lovely and provided the very best customer service. Can’t wait ti visit again!

  3. Didn’t stay. Had a spa day. It was lovely. Could do with more beds around the pool.
Afternoon Tea was good but no wow factor. Cakes tasted lovely but weren’t as nice as others places. Tasted nicer than they looked to be fair, but afternoon tea is as much about presentation as the food.
Best thing about the afternoon tea was the warm scones and the fact you had individual jams and cream in jars.

  4. We were super lucky and the hotel upgraded us, which was really kind. Room was amazing, such great views, and a really central location.

Only thing that let it down slightly was that the spa felt a bit sad – hot tub not working, nor was one of the showers.

  5. Great central location with walking access into Cardiff. The staff were really friendly and helpful, but there were a few issues was the numerous not working hotel elements. There were 4 lifts, of only 1 it seemed was working and not clear signage on the others that were out of order, so I was happy to run up the stairs to my room on the 4th floor, however there was no indication of where any stairs were to use. The sauna and pool was good, but one of the showers were out of order and quite odd that there was no temperature option for this. Majority of people I know who use a sauna enjoy the benefit of standing under a cold shower, there was not this option, the water was only one setting of warm.
